Due largely to Marsh’s eye, Prada has a reputation for launching the careers of undiscovered talent. Sasha Pivovarova and Arizona Muse both benefited from his casting them in Prada runway shows. It will be interesting to see if Brokaw can continue in that same vein.
“This is really unexpected, Russell and Prada always seemed to be the perfect collaboration,” Marc10 commented. “I wonder if he’s replaced at Miu Miu too,” he mused.

LagerfeldBoy isn’t too optimistic about the change. “So Ashley casts models for Balenciaga and Proenza Schouler? Yeah, definite downgrade from Russell,” he wrote. “In my opinion, the models constantly casted at Proenza and Balenciaga are just so bland.”
Is it bad that I don’t think I’ll be able to notice a difference?
