It seems our forum members aren’t taking a shine to the supermodel’s new cover. “Awful. The makeup, the missing arms. What’s up with that?” questioned anlabe32.
“I&V are trying to recreate the essence of their ‘weird’ portraits and failing miserably at it,” replied Melancholybaby.
Nymphaea wasn’t feeling the pose, either, “No arms and horrible eye makeup, this could have been so much better.”
Also underwhelmed was miguelalmeida, who posted: “I love the idea of making Naomi look like a bust sculpture but…that makeup killed the cover!”
A few members admired the cover, though. “I find Naomi’s cover intriguing…the sculpture/bust idea is interesting. Naomi looks very beautiful here,” declared an enthusiastic YoninahAliza.
“Even with that horrific makeup, I can’t help but love Naomi’s cover. At least they dared with Campbell!” raved Miss Dalloway.
Charlotte Casiraghi and Cara Delevingne are also cover stars of W Magazine‘s October issue, and both can be previewed here. “I think the Naomi cover is definitely inspired by Diana Ross. I hate myself for saying this, but Cara’s cover looks to be the best of the three…” stated orchidee.
