Gemma was also shot by Testino for a series of images inside the issue where she showcases even more of Pilati’s first collection for YSL. In each and every shot, she models with a pair of scissors (kind of an odd fashion accessory). She’s either cutting her own hair, her bottom lip or attempting to cut a goldfish out of its bowl while crawling across a table. The engaging editorial is even featured inside Roitfeld’s book, Irreverent.

Anja Rubik, snapped by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, also stars in the 258-page issue. Crystal Renn was shot by Craig McDean for some photos that helped shape her career, and Natalia Vodianova was captured by Mikael Jansson on a tennis court at night. If that wasn’t enough, Patrick Demarchelier photographed Natasha Poly for a set of dreamy black and white images where Natasha donned a selection of white summer dresses.
