What do our forum members think? Well, we’ve received mixed reviews. “Beautiful image. Julia is perfect for Dior,” raved Gábor, clearly impressed with Dior’s new fashion spots.
“I really love this. I’d take Julia over Daria Strokous any day,” replied GivenchyHomme in agreement.
Nepenthes was also a fan and commented, “Flawless. Julia is perfect for Raf’s Dior just as Karlie was perfect for John’s.”
Although not everyone was left so impressed and it appears as though the majority are rooting for change already. “I really love the pictures but it’s too pretentious. That ‘arty’ and clean thing is so boring. I get it, Dior is modern now and blah blah blah but, is modern lifeless?” asked Lola701.
Feeling the same way, Nepenthes returned to the thread to add: “Love Natalie and I like this campaign in general. That said, I do agree that Dior needs to inject some life into the image of the brand because this clean/arty thing won’t last for long. I definitely hope it won’t take as long for a different campaign as it took for Ralph Lauren.”
“I hate every campaign since Raf has been there. Extremely boring and looks so uninspired, I cannot tell them apart,” slammed gossiping.
HeatherAnne suggested, “Honestly, they’d be better off using celebrities. Natalie looks too young, and Julia is too masculine.”
