Robin Wright’s True Beauty Is Airbrushed Away on the Cover of UK Harper’s Bazaar (Forum Buzz)

From the onset, our forum members weren’t exactly feeling it wholeheartedly. “So lovely to see her on the cover, wish it had ‘more’ energy, but it’s still nice,” posted Miss Dalloway.

“Great cover choice. I wish the photo itself had been stronger, but I’m all for seeing Robin. She can look quite harsh in photos I find, so it’s nice to see it all a little softer here at least,” chimed in honeycombchild.

“Good choice! Too bad the cover doesn’t reflect her beauty at all. The styling is awful,” echoed a less than impressed [Piece Of Me].

Also not exactly jumping for joy was A.D.C.: “I like the cover but the pose could have been better.”

Forum member gazebo was quick to pick faults, too, adding, “I was excited seeing the title. But I really don’t like it. She’s much more beautiful and striking than this photo. It just doesn’t look like her.”

“They Photoshopped all of her striking beauty away, and made her look like a dull catalog model,” mepps sharply criticized.

But things began to brighten up once Benn98 commented, “Love Robin Wright, she’s one of those rare women who you don’t see on rotation for women’s magazines. The shot is very safe, but I like the breeziness. Great for Spring.”
