But the real question still remains: were our feisty forum members feeling it? “Singers for three consecutive months? Also by M&M?” questioned a disapproving zzzyao76.
“I’m so sick to death of pop stars on Vogue. Plus, I dont really see what’s so exceptional about this makeover, she hardly looks that different,” added an underwhelmed Benn98.
Also quick to show their disapproval was GlamorousBoy, throwing in, “It’s even worse than I expected. The red is bad, her hair is bad, her pose is bad and it looks very dated to me, like from 2002!”
MyNameIs was unwilling to show enthusiasm too: “I don’t like it. Feels like a December cover with all that red and gold. Taylor looks terrible. Bad hair. Bad pose. Yeah, I really don’t like it.”
“It’s like a loop of same pop and movie stars OVER, and OVER again, sigh! Although at least this is an unexpected cover for them, so kudos for trying something new with her,” reasoned Miss Dalloway.
Not everyone was so quick to shade the cover. “I wasn’t expecting for her to land the cover at all. It’s not my favourite cover or even the best I’ve seen from Taylor, but I at least applaud the magazine for trying something different! It’s refreshing at least, even if I’m not in love,” chimed in honeycombchild.
