We’ve seen our fair share of Bella Hadid lately — and not just when she’s stomping down the runways of just about every major fashion show over the recent weeks. She has covered Harper’s Bazaar Australia, Glamour, Vogue Japan, Vogue Italia and Vogue Paris within the space of two months and now, amazingly enough, found the time to shoot the October cover of Harper’s Bazaar Russia. Photographed by Mathieu Cesar, Bella flaunts her flawless complexion in the stunning shot and wears an embellished coat by Miu Miu.

Members of our forums seemed to share mixed feelings toward the cover, however. “I’m not too sure what to make of this, on the one hand, I feel it’s a departure from the smouldering direction we’ve seen from her. And on the other, she looks like a ghost, especially with all the faint colors,” Benn98 expressed at once.
“This is the sort of stuff I wish would get reprinted in all those different editions of Bazaar. It’s not greatly exciting, but at least Bella’s face – with its haunted expression – is more interesting to look at than anything Carine [Roitfeld] makes happen at the moment,” added tigerrogue.
DelicateFlower wrote, “This is different and striking, memorable. Bella is modelling differently here, showing more range than she has before? She seems to be getting better, relaxing her face more. I actually really hope they reprint this shoot in my local edition, I’ll take the cover image too.”
The cover left everyone else pleasantly surprised too. “I really like this. It has a cold but beautiful cinematic quality to it that goes perfectly with the icy blue background,” approved Nomar.
“I agree, it feels like a chilly and bright October morning! Very fitting,” responded an agreeing russianelf.
“She always gets it right!” TeeVanity raved.
Nymphaea pointed out: “I like it very much, for me it feels like a classic Marion Cotillard moment.”
One thing you must see is Bella’s accompanying cover story, which contains some gorgeous images. Check it out and join the conversation here.
