Bella Hadid, Troye Sivan and Sasha Lane Usher in Teen Vogue’s Relaunch

, Teen Vogue announced it would be cutting back from nine issues a year to four, as well as increase its format to a larger sized book. True to its word, the publication’s highly anticipated relaunch is here, entitled Volume 1. Offering a selection of three unique and diverse covers to choose from, the magazine tapped Bella Hadid (below), Troye Sivan and Sasha Lane to star on Teen Vogue‘s new love-themed edition.

Unfortunately, our forum members weren’t feeling the title’s overhaul. “Of all the things they decided to retain, they chose the font. bye,” mocked MON the minute the covers began to surface.

“Saw this in the bookstore, very disappointing redesign. The new size is very awkward and unpleasant to read IMO. I thought now that they only release four issues per year, they would’ve made it more like a ‘proper and collectable’ like Lula or Violet,” disapproved Rigida.

“Surprisingly, I like Bella’s cover because it is fresh, beautiful smile and very targeted for the teenager and this is a good point. Don’t understand the idea of calling it Volume 1 though,” commented GivenchyAddict.

Also quick to add their opinion was dodencebt, sharing, “Give me Sasha Lane and I’m good. I don’t care about the other two covers but it’ll be interesting to see the content.”

KINGofVERSAILLES favored Sasha’s cover too: “I think I’m in LOVE with Sasha’s cover.”

“I love Troye’s cover very much. The crossed out text sort of bugged me but this is actually a direction/revamp that make sense,” TaylorBinque chimed in.
