Paris Jackson and Hijab-Wearing Model Halima Aden Are CR Fashion Book’s Official Cover Stars

. Scratch that and rewind. CR Fashion Book has been teasing us for the past week, hyping the upcoming celebratory Issue #10, and we assumed the teaser covers on Instagram were the ones we’d see at the newsstand — but no. As it turns out, the official cover stars for Roitfeld’s namesake fashion bible are Paris Jackson and hijab-wearing model Halima Aden, photographed by Mario Sorrenti.

According to our forum members, Roitfeld should have stuck with the Stone and Hadid covers. “The covers are nothing special and the layout is terrible,” said mariemaud upon seeing the official covers for Issue #10.

“Halima should have been the only cover girl. It could have been more impactful and more controversial in a way. Paris Jackson? Really Carine? I love Carine but I hate her celebrity-obsessed mind. I feel like she jumps over every young “daughter of…” girl, gives her a cover and then imposes them on us. I know she is a “daughter of…” herself but she needs to calm down with it,” ranted a disapproving Lola701.

“Hailma’s cover is actually my favorite,” echoed 333101.

Benn98 didn’t seem all too impressed either, commenting, “I’ve been seeing loads of articles about Carine and the Madonna clone, so her presence here doesn’t shock me much. There’s been much reporting about Halima as well. Just glad that their covers actually look passable, but there’s something very plastic about Paris’ cover.”

“Paris intrigues me, so I’m looking forward to see her modeling,” shared kokobombon.
