Kate Moss Just Made Her 38th Appearance on the Cover of British Vogue

As Alexandra Shulman gets ready to leave her role as EIC of British Vogue in the summer, she’s making sure to feature her favorites before she waves farewell. Therefore, it should come as no surprise to see Kate Moss back on the cover for a mind-blowing 38th time. The iconic Brit supermodel returns for the April 2017 issue with a commanding cover image captured by photographic duo Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott.

Unfortunately, the majority of our forum members weren’t impressed by Kate’s latest cover appearance. “YIKES! Her hair looks so dry. The imagine is too washed out with the light background, her pale skin, and her fried hair,” exclaimed a horrified VogueDisciple93 the moment the cover dropped.

“This does not look inviting. At. All. Terrible!” declared MON.

“Kind of frightening,” described an unforgiving whippie.

KissMiss wasn’t much of an admirer either, commenting, “Possibly the worst Kate Moss UK Vogue cover. It just doesn’t work and the shape of her face has zero resemblance to her real self.”

Marc10 sniffed out some signs of post-production too: “At this point, Mert & Marcus must have a special Adobe software called ‘Kate’s face’ in their computer. WE. KNOW. THAT’S. NOT. HOW. SHE. LOOKS.”

Also not showing much enthusiasm was forum member GivenchyHomme. “It’s very harsh. The lighting is washing her out and that background is not helping. Also, the dress looks very matronly,” he pointed out.

Srdjan didn’t know what the fuss was about, saying, “I think it’s beautiful. The styling has evolved – she’s not the ‘heroin chic’ girl in her 20s anymore – she’s all grown up now.”

“Finally I have an excuse to buy a fashion magazine! I think the softer look, where the lighting, hair, makeup blends together, gives it a slightly vintage vibe,” added eizhowa.
