The last time Anne Hathaway appeared on the cover of one of our favorite fashion glossies was back in September 2015 for InStyle. So you can imagine our delight when the actress turned up on the cover of ELLE this month. After receiving backlash from our forums for its overdone Solange Knowles cover last month, the magazine strips it all back for April’s gorgeous cover. Shot by ELLE regular Terry Tsiolis, Anne poses up a storm wearing a sexy, blush-toned Dolce & Gabbana dress in the ethereal image.

The cover received a standing ovation from forum members. “Brilliant cover. Their best in a long time!” honeycombchild applauded straight away.
“Beautiful cover, love the color used for the ELLE masthead,” added t-rex.
“She is so stunning! It’s a great cover and shoot, the photos are really simple and clean and fresh; I love it,” approved LastNight.
Also happy with the outcome was SussyBela: “Beautiful cover. Anne looks fresh!”
Lola701 was quick to complement, “The cover and Anne’s editorial are fabulous! It looks almost Meisel-ish! I love it!”
“Still don’t like you Anne, BUT the cover and edit is simply glorious,” confessed Benn98, who went on to comment, “Even though she’s so insufferable, I don’t recall one bad fashion cover or edit to date. She actually photographs better than most models. Love everything, and I’d have chosen the shot of her in the leather skirt [below] for the cover instead.”
“I love the cover! I agree she became beyond annoying, but she is SERVING!” echoed SpeakThatJDunn.
