Yasmin Wijnaldum Turns Up the Heat on Vogue Korea’s Smoldering December Cover

The Korean fashion glossies are pulling out all the stops for December 2017.  First, W Korea produced two killer Lara Stone covers and now Vogue Korea delivers a striking and sexy cover starring Yasmin Wijnaldum. The Dutch beauty continues to gain momentum, impressing shoot after shoot and catwalk after catwalk. Making her fourth Vogue cover appearance, Yasmin turns up the heat wearing nothing but a pair of oversized Saint Laurent leather and shearling gloves, photographed by Steven Pan.

The cover ultimately left our forums divided. “Yasmin’s been fantastic in print lately, and this cover shot is another example of how fantastic a model she can be. I love the whole smoldering vibe the cover possesses, the use of Saint Laurent and how monochromatic the cover is,” admired forum member vogue28.

“Yasmin has been on a roll lately. I also instantly loved this cover. Very sexy. Congrats to her!” echoed Valentine27.

Also quick to rave about the outcome was GivenchyHomme. “Yasmin was green for a very long time. It looks like she’s finally living up to her potential. People didn’t keep her around for nothing! I’m happy that she’s showing the haters up!” he applauded.

Mariemaud couldn’t have agreed more: “I think her expression has improved, she looks hot there!”

“She’s a gorgeous girl. But this cover is awful. I blame the photographer and stylist,” apple lashed out.

“I think that the styling would have worked better if the pose wasn’t so sexy. Also, way too much Photoshop,” pointed out kokobombon.

“More like something for Lui or Playboy,” scoffed Nymphaea.

Benn98 agreed, saying, “Yeah, there is something tawdry about this. Less Carine [Roitfeld] x Vogue Paris/Tom Ford and more lads mag. I think it’s due to the ‘girl-next-door’ hairstyle.”
