The last time i-D Magazine managed to capture our attention was back in 2016 (and for all the wrong reasons). After a slew of forgettable and uninspiring covers, i-D has just become a must-have this month with an array of terrific covers for Spring 2018. Leave it up to Dutch photographic duo Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin to deliver, capturing the likes of Christy Turlington, Teddy Quinlivan, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Paloma Elsesser, Dara Allen, Adut Akech, Binx Walton and Cardi B, who were each shot in I&V’s classic black and white style.
Our forum members immediately sounded off on their favorite covers. “Thank the Universe for Christy. What a class act. Love how she keeps it real without selling out,” raved EstefaniaAbaddon.
“Oh, Christy! You gorgeous human being,” favored dodencebt.
“Christy showing them how it’s done. Energetic, quirky, yet effortless,” simon stated.

Also favoring Christy’s cover was KissMiss: “It is so funny… Christy isn’t doing much. in fact, she isn’t even doing the whole i-D thing but somehow she manages to convince us. She is just one of a kind!”
A few other cover stars also stood out. “Teddy’s cover (below, top left) is gorgeous!” applauded bluebanter.
June couldn’t have agreed more, echoing, “I have never seen Teddy look SO good! That cover is gorgeous!”
“Hanne’s cover is giving me life! I love her energy,” added forum member john2elmejor showing Hanne’s cover (below, top right) some love.
