Estée Lauder is on a mission to snatch up the best talent to serve as brand ambassadors. We’re only halfway through 2018 and the mega makeup brand has already signed Karlie Kloss and Grace Elizabeth as global spokespersons — and now Estée Lauder sets its sights on Anok Yai. Ever since Anok made her catwalk debut in February as the second black woman to open a Prada show, just about everyone in the industry has had a watchful eye on the Egyptian-born, Sudanese beauty. In the announcement image (below), Anok proves she’ll need minimal effort to elevate her glowing, natural beauty as she features in future advertising campaigns for any of Estée Lauder’s extensive line of luxurious skin care and beauty products.
Of course, our forum members were ecstatic about EL’s latest signing. “Absolutely fantastic to see Anok snatched up by Estée Lauder! First Grace, now Anoki, wonder who’s next? They sure are signing up fresh new faces and I’m here for it. Anok looks smashing in the unveiling photo, utterly radiant and captivating,” said vogue28.
“Love the colors in this shot, and she seems to work for the brand based on this shot. She’s actually the most unconventional hire for EL yet which is refreshing. And I’m not saying this because of her skin tone, but because of her features,” wrote Benn98.
