You’re no doubt used to seeing Jennifer Aniston styled a certain type of way whenever she graces the covers of our favorite fashion glossies (see recent covers of Harper’s Bazaar and InStyle for prime examples). Interview opted to take the American actress slightly out of her comfort zone for its March 2020 cover shoot with stunning results. Photographed by Alique and styled by Mel Ottenberg, Jennifer looks sensational wearing the Celine boots of the season, a black leather jacket (also from Celine) and Azzedine Alaïa briefs for the cover shot.
But something about the cover bugged a few of our forum members upon closer inspection. “It looked incredible until I zoomed in on the face…” said Marc10.
“Jennifer either doesn’t know how to pose or the people retouching her photos use the same preset. This is not the first time I’ve seen Jen make such strange facial expressions. Can’t someone help her?” asked a dumbfounded avonlea002.

“What a weird facial expression, she sadly looks Botoxed out of her mind. Her body is amazing though and face aside, this is a great cover and something different for Jen,” declared dodencebt.
Sharing the same sentiment was Miss Dalloway: “Yeah, she is making a strange face, but you know what? This is at least something different from her. There are famous women like Jennifer, Victoria Beckham or Gwyneth Paltrow that sell based on their very defined image and every time a magazine gets them to do anything out of the usual, it’s a win! This works for me!”
“I mean damnnnn if that doesn’t make you want to hit the gym. Wow! Great womanly styling, too. Killed it,” raved HeatherAnne.
“Despite the unflattering facial expression in the cover shot, I am ALL for this! Alique did a truly fabulous job here and the concept of ‘gritty glamour’ feels utterly refreshing for Jennifer Aniston (who we usually see all prim, proper and smiley on fashion magazine covers),” voiced vogue28.
