Kourtney Kardashian Scores a Pair of Vogue Arabia Covers

You’ll often hear us ranting about magazines recycling the same old cover stars. Manuel Arnaut, however, has a knack for thinking outside the box when it comes to Vogue Arabia. From giving Nicki Minaj her first Vogue cover to uniting modeling icons Iman and Imaan Hammam, we’re constantly impressed. Now Kourtney Kardashian makes a surprise appearance on the magazine’s July/August 2020 edition snapped by Arved Colvin-Smith. The American reality TV star and founder of Poosh follows in the footsteps of sister Kim Kardashian by posing for a pair of covers that are giving us all sorts of Andy Warhol vibes.

But what did our forum members think of the covers? “Actually, not that bad,” confessed mikel upon first look.

“I like this Warhol-esque vibe, it suits the whole Kardashian narrative. Maybe not for a Vogue cover, but they are quite nice,” complimented SRank.

“I immediately thought of Andy Warhol too, in particular his portrait of Princess Caroline of Monaco, when looking at these. The coloring and lighting are very similar, especially in the second cover (which I much prefer over the first). Nothing groundbreaking or particularly eye-catching (unlike sister Kim’s Arabian Vogue covers by Txema Yeste), but inoffensive nevertheless,” voiced vogue28.

“Second cover is the best by far,” echoed jorgepalomo.

RMDV simply wasn’t buying it: “I’m sorry but this is just terrible…looks like a horrible outtake from Kourtney’s camera roll… So sick of seeing this family with all of their money on covers that look like they cost $400 max to produce.”

“May not be the best-looking cover, but I’ll take her over any other Kardashian/Jenner,” wrote slayage.
