Vogue Poland April/May 2021 : Constance Jablonski by Branislav Simoncik

Constance Jablonski Almost Gets Upstaged on Vogue Poland’s April/May 2021 Cover

Since its inception in 2018, Vogue Poland has been pretty hit or miss. Covers featuring Adwoa Aboah, Victoria Beckham and Alexandra Agoston have gone down as misses. While covers starring Natalia Vodianova, Christy Turlington and Anja Rubik were declared total triumphs. For its double April/May edition, the Polish fashion bible picks Constance Jablonski as its latest cover star. With Branislav Simoncik behind the lens and Jan Králíček reporting for styling duties, Constance wears an eye-catching look from Schiaparelli’s Spring 2021 Haute Couture collection in the bold and commanding cover image.

One element in particular immediately caught the attention of our forum members. “A perfectly good image ruined by one annoying rose! Constance is too beautiful for this type of treatment!” exclaimed GERGIN.

“Yikes. The rose is too much,” Royal-Galliano chimed in.

“They should’ve checked out Vogue Spain’s Jodie Comer cover as to how to feature a flower properly and as if that Schiaparelli dress isn’t distracting enough. What a total waste of a Constance Jablonski Vogue cover,” voiced vogue28.

JohannesL certainly won’t be making a mad dash to the newsstand: “That Schiaparelli dress is so tacky that you don’t need another rose to elevate it!”

But not everyone felt the same way. “This is delightful. The rose weirdly works for me. With those big eyes, yes please!” approved oaklee91.

“This is weirdly nice…” confessed annikad.

“I really like this, too. It’s odd and a little try-hard, but it’s bold, fashion-y and kinda pretty,” wrote MyNameIs.

“I like it. One of their better and stronger covers,” raved MON.
