Vogue España October 2021 : Anya Taylor-Joy by Camila Falquez

Anya Taylor-Joy Shines on Vogue Spain’s October 2021 Cover

Anya Taylor-Joy is everywhere. After covering ELLE, Tatler and InStyle within a few short months, Anya now fronts Vogue Spain’s latest. In collaboration with Vogue Mexico, the Spanish fashion bible welcomes the actress and red carpet staple to her very first Vogue cover this month shot by Camila Falquez. Snapped underneath a blue sky, Anya wears a Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2021 black knitted dress with multicolored stones chosen by Max Ortega for the striking October 2021 cover image.

The cover divided our forums. “Gorgeous!” declared crmsnsnwflks the moment the cover dropped.

“I like the very minimal approach to it,” appreciated FashionMuseDior.

“The cover image feels like a breath of fresh air, love the clear blue sky backdrop, the pale yellow Vogue masthead and how the black dress is at the forefront. A minimal and inoffensive cover that I cannot grumble over,” confessed vogue28.

Not everyone shared the same sentiment, however. “The Mexican covers are better than this one,” VogueGirl8910 pointed out.

“It’s an OK cover, but Mexico’s are MUCH better,” echoed charles01.

“This is just terrible. Shadow/light, styling, body position, expression, hair/masthead color, all of it. Terrible,” shared a far from impressed Vitamine W.

“I prefer the Vogue Mexico covers, but this is also exceptional…” admitted KINGofVERSAILLES.

“The Mexican covers with the red background would’ve worked even better with this font and layout. I like this regardless, but I’m also still in denial that Vogue is so caught up in their global mess…” said aracic.
