Angelina Jolie & Annie Leibovitz Reunite and Get Creative for Vogue’s ‘Beautiful’ Digital Cover

We simply don’t know where you’ve been if you didn’t already know that Angelia Jolie has a whole fashion house in her name, Atelier Jolie, which was announced and founded earlier this year. First came a high-profile gig with luxury French fashion label Chloé (in collab with the brand’s creative director Gabriela Hearst) and now the American actress and humanitarian is showcasing an Atelier Jolie creation via Vogue’s new digital cover. Reuniting with renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz for the occasion, Jolie tries her hand at a dab of spray painting in the creative cover shot, styled by Tabitha Simmons in an Atelier Jolie gown which incorporates deadstock materials.

Our forums were engulfed in debate from the second the cover came to light. “Wasting Angelina Jolie on a digital cover is actually insane,” commented Marc10.
“Choices. Angelina’s cover should have been the main print cover,” Lola701 echoed.
In the same frame of mind was Ivanity86: “Angelina Jolie for a digital covers? Why? Why? Why? It would have been a wonderful cover for November!”
“When Vogue finally has an interesting cover image that encapsulates commercial and editorial, starring Angelina Jolie, no less – they use it as a digital cover,” laughed crmsnsnwflks.
“Cover of the year, for me at least,” liberty33r1b applauded.
Kimy Jo simply described the end result as “beautiful”.
