Kate Moss Does ‘Laid-Back Luxe’ as Vogue Germany’s May 2024 Cover Star

Supermodels, top models or any working model will always and forever be a good idea, when it comes to who graces the covers of our fave fashion glossies. Thankfully for us, Vogue Germany’s Kerstin Weng has received the memo loud and clear over recent months. The title’s head of editorial content has welcomed Claudia Schiffer and Adut Akech onto the magazine’s front cover over recent months, with none other than Kate Moss making an appearance for May 2024. To commemorate the launch of Kate’s skincare brand Cosmoss in Germany, the iconic British beauty and undisputed icon of fashion poses for Nikolai von Bismark in the effortless and nonchalant cover photograph. Kate Phelan styled the cover shoot, complete with the current face of Balenciaga and Fendi wearing a look from Valentino’s Spring 2024 collection (below).

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“Love everything about this cover! Beautiful,” described MModa straight away.

“There is something very serene about it,” BelkaniStaCouture admired.

Also very much a fan was vogue28: “Kate Moss has always been a one who doesn’t need any gimmicks on set, and this is prime example. I’m always down for a little laid-back luxe, so I’m here for this. The colors are gorgeous, so soft and demure. Every single element is working for me on that cover… right down to the pale green Vogue masthead.”

“Even slouching, it’s still chic,” voiced jeremydante.

Not everyone, however, was so convinced. “I have exactly the same expression looking at this cover,” critiqued forum member Royal-Galliano.

“She looks annoyed, but I really like the mood, the dress and the colors,” reasoned FiLReD.
