The fashion powerhouse that is Christian Dior has an extensive rooster of A-list talent on speed dial to call upon as brand ambassadors. Names on said list include the likes of Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jisoo and Rihanna. The fabled French fashion house welcomes Rosalía as global brand ambassador for 2024, fresh from showcasing a chic black Christian Dior Haute Couture creation designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri to the 2024 Met Gala. Cementing their relationship even further, Chiuri taps the Spanish singer-songwriter as the face of the Lady Dior handbag (designed by Gianfranco Ferré in 1994). Following in the footsteps of Marion Cotillard as the face of Christian Dior’s most iconic handbag style, Rosalía poses for Collier Schorr in this year’s campaign series, captured both in full-color and black and white.
Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“Terrible,” exclaimed Scotty the second the campaign dropped.
“Collier Schorr is so overrated. She can literally make anybody fall into depression. Happy for Rosalía, but they could’ve done something else,” Creative chimed in.
Also majorly underwhelmed was Snejana Onopka, who commented: “They set my girl Rosalía up. This is so lifeless!”
“The way Collier Schorr can make anything lifeless/boring is low key amazing,” laughed fashionvvvvvvy.
“Grim. This is a campaign that sells you the idea of doubting you’ve made the right purchase before you’ve even bought the bag,” shared a disapproving tigerrouge.
“Banal beyond belief. To add insult to injury here, this appears to be have been shot with the same lousy setup as Collier Schorr’s Pre-Fall 2024 campaign,” vogue28 pointed out.
