Should you be a voracious reader of Vogue Portugal, you’re no doubt fully aware Sofia Lucas favors the format of issues dedicated to a particular theme. Themes subsequent to the ‘Blossom‘ issue back in March (which had our undivided attention), issues of the Portuguese fashion title has since centered around ‘Memories‘ and ‘Mother Nature‘. For June 2024, Lucas is shining a spotlight on all-things Portugal with the ‘From Portugal with Love’ issue. Across six collectable covers, teams were dispatched to the city of Porto, the island of Madeira, the historical region of Alentejo, The Algarve, The Azores and the municipality of Sintra. The covers result in Mariza, Jourdan Dunn, Carla Pereira, Carolina Azevedo, Alessandra Ambrosio and Daniela Melchior becoming cover stars, who pose for Branislav Simoncik, Ricardo Khalil Abrahao, Cole Sprouse (yes, the actor), JuanKr, Élio Nogueira and An Le respectively.
