Naomi Campbells Falls Victim to Some Serious Photoshop on the Cover of Madame Figaro

Supermodels will always and forever be a good idea. Whether it’s Kate Moss taking to three Vogue covers within a matter of weeks or the incomparable Linda Evangelista making a bold and powerful statement via the cover of Zeit Magazin – we wholeheartedly accept. Needless to say, Madame Figaro ultimately has theFashionSpot’s undivided attention with the unveiling of its latest issue dated July 5, 2024 as Naomi Campbell becomes cover girl. The British icon of fashion who has been splashed across the covers of Vogue Australia, Vogue Greece and Harper’s Bazaar France (to name just a few) throughout 2024, poses for photographer Joseph Degbadjo. In the full-length cover shot, captured within Degbadjo’s photographic studio, Naomi is dressed by stylist Leïla Smara in head-to-toe Chanel.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“Instead of a Chanel logo on the belt, it should have been a Photoshop logo!” exclaimed DK92.

“Madame Tussauds called and they want their fax figure back,” KoV added.

“What a disaster,” voiced a disapproving oaklee91.

Avonlea002 voiced: “Naomi Campbell doesn’t even look like a model here. She has either lost it and is too lazy to even do the bare minimum.”

“Go girl, give us nothing,” blueorchid chimed in.

Also left majorly unimpressed was Bertrando3: “Is this a joke?. Naomi Campbell doesn’t look at the camera. She doesn’t pose. The clothes look like something from Shein. Someone got paid to style this?”

“Looks like a random backstage snapshot, and definitely too much retouching,” noted Drusilla.
