What Is Bad Bunny Doing as Vogue Italia’s July 2024 Cover Star?

Vogue Italia might not hold the prestige it once did during the reign of the late great Franca Sozzani. However, under the tutelage of Francesca Ragazzi, the magazine still manages to secure big-name talent as cover stars. The likes of Taylor Russell, Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk and Hunter Schafer have covered the Italian fashion bible throughout 2024, and added to the list with the unveiling of the July 2024 edition is Bad Bunny. Ragazzi called upon firm forum favorite Rafael Pavarotti to profile to the Puerto Rican rapper, singer, record producer and co-host of this year’s 2024 Met Gala. On the location within Los Angeles’ historic Chateau Marmont, Bad Bunny stares down Pavarotti’s lens while dressed by stylist George Krakowiak in a black oversized wool coat, mother of pearl button white shirt and turquoise stone bolo tie from Louis Vuitton.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“It’s probably supposed to be an intense, smouldering stare, but it looks more like one of those mirror images of someone’s face,” voiced tigerrouge.

“Ugly. Keep men off of Vogue covers!” declared a deeply uninterested thenewclassic.

“So insufferable. Get these men out of Vogue please,” MDNA echoed.

“I like Bad Bunny well enough but I don’t know what on earth he’s doing on the July cover of Italian Vogue,” chimed in forum member KoV.

“I don’t believe Bad Bunny is actually relevant in Italy at all… is he?” questioned ah ah.

Isami wasn’t exactly willing to make a mad dash down to the newsstand either, commenting: “Terrible singer, terrible model, terrible cover!”
