Should Kylie Jenner Have Allowed This British Vogue Cover to be Published?

We are still yet to be convinced Chioma Nnadi is a suitable candidate for Edward Enninful’s replacement at British Vogue. From the get-go, covers under the control of Nnadi have been lackluster to say the least. Not even covers starring FKA Twigs, Zendaya, Sophie Turner, Mona Tougaard (with Central Cee) or Suki Waterhouse have managed to deliver. British Vogue’s all-important offering for September is awarded to Kylie Jenner this year. The American social media star turned fashion entrepreneur makes her British Vogue cover debut via the lens of photographer Luis Alberto Rodriguez. In the sultry cover image, the Khy founder poses against a backdrop of floral foliage and is dressed by stylist Ib Kamara in a coat from Prada’s Fall 2024 collection.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“I don’t mind Kylie Jenner, but this cover is awful,” confessed KoV.

“Oh dear – they really didn’t let Jenner get her photoshopper in did they,” Serend1pity laughed.

“The lighting and CRIMINAL Photoshop makes Kylie look like a paper collage of different people. Shameful work,” scolded forum member VogueDisciple93.

Magic Spells wasn’t exactly smitten either. “The person that chose this cover hates her, I’m shocked Kylie let this be published,” they exclaimed.

“This looks so pedestrian, subject included. British Vogue quickly sank to the worst out of the big 4 Vogues post Enninful’s departure,” declared Marc10.

Also far from impressed was NYLA22, commenting: “This feels so irrelevant and outdated. I’m truly baffled by what Chioma is doing with this magazine.”

“And with that British Vogue, I’m out,” voiced an unforgiving honeycombchild.
