Carla Bruni Pregnancy Rumors; Arizona Muse Poses with Son for J Crew (PHOTOS)

British Vogue and French publications Le Figaro, Le Journal du Dimanche, and Le Parisien are reporting that Carla Bruni is expecting her first child with French president Nicolas Sarkozy. The news hasn’t been confirmed by the Elysee Palace and will reportedly be kept under wraps throughout the early stages of pregnancy. Rising star Arizona Muse posed with her 2-year-old son, Nikko, for J. Crew‘s May catalog. The model dominated the Fall 2011 runways, and many are eager to see Muse move on from commercial work, but it’s hard to turn your nose up at this mother-son pair. Honestly, these ads do their job a little too well: I’m a heartbeat away from running out the door and straight into a J. Crew store to load up on pretty pastels and sophisticated neutrals in light, flowy fabrics, but the clothes probably won’t be enough to quell my urges – you can’t buy babies at J. Crew. So once I have my Linen Maddie Pant, it’s only a matter of time before I start chasing men down on the street and begging them to have babies with me. And I’ll be dressed so nicely, that surely someone will acquiesce. So if you don’t hear from me tomorrow, now you know why: blame J. Crew. [J Crew]

I know you can’t stop talking, thinking, singing about what Kate Middleton might wear to her wedding, but she won’t be the only person in attendance at the big day, and I just found out that the other guests aren’t planning to go nude at the ceremony: everyone from Prince William to the Queen to Kate’s very own mother has their heart set on stealing the princess-to-be’s thunder by showing up in their Sunday best. To protest the insolent clothing-wearers and to show solidarity with the bride, I recommend being naked while you watch the televised ceremony. [Fashionista]

You already knew that Anna Dello Russo had her very own Barbie doll, but apparently the Vogue Nippon editor is launching a whole toy empire. Her latest offering? An ADR paper doll for the Canadian department store The Hudson’s Bay Company. Coming up next? A kite printed with Anna Dello Russo’s face, an ADR Monopoly board (“Go directly to KMart. Do not pass the Met Gala or Tom Ford’s super-secret womenswear show. Do not collect a Prada fur stole“), and jewel-encrusted J’ADR YoYo with silk string. Oh, a girl can dream. [FinalFashion]
