Fashion and Beauty Brands Recruit Olympians

As part of the brand’s beloved ‘Voice’ campaign, Alfred Dunhill has paired with three athletes to not only show off the brand’s wares, in a campaign shot by legendary photographer David Sims, but also tell us a little about their story in exclusive short films. Gymnast and Champion of the Commonwealth Games, Louis Smith, joins two time gold medal winning sailor, Iain Percy, and legendary rower and four-time Olympic gold medalist Sir Matthew Pinsent in the stylish campaign that not only focuses on style, but also what it takes to be an Olympian. 

While it’s safe to say Team GB will be some of the best dressed in their Stella McCartney-designed kit, the girls will be well groomed as well. Heptathlete Jessica Ennis, who covers this month’s issue of Marie Claire, has become the face of Olay’s Essentials range, and carries the hope of the nation as one of the best bets for taking home the gold.

Pantene Pro-V has announced that Victoria Pendleton, the Olympian and World Champion track cyclist, as the face for the Smooth & Sleek range. Similarly, Max Factor has enlisted swimmer Keri-Anne Payne, the 24-year-old who was the first British athlete to qualify for the Olympics, as the face of its False Lash Effect Gold Mascara.
