Emilio Pucci Fall 2012 Runway Review

This season, the influence of the divided following seemed more evident than in seasons past. While the designer’s signature high voltage sex appeal – complete with skin-tight silhouettes, high slits, lush fur, sheer panels, and cut-outs – was all over the runway, the collection felt safer than it has in the past. In fact, there were even some menswear-inspired jackets and above-the-ankle cropped trousers in the mix. The stand-out looks were nonetheless the sexier ones finished with slashed sheer panels.
