Earlier this week, Styleite tweeted, “Guess who’s collaborating with ? Hint: he’s got  AND Kate Middleton‘s stamp of approval.” Guesses anyone? “The latest designer to team up with  is…! We. Are. So. Pumped,” tweeted Glamour. Dying to know how the rest of the fashion world responded to this latest collaboration? Only one way to find out.

Elle tweeted, “Wow!  is designing about 80 pieces for .” InStyle added, “Big news:  just announced  as its newest designer collaboration. We can’t wait!” Others weren’t quite as enthused. The Fashion Spot tweeted, “Prabal Gurung is getting a Target collab and other things I don’t care about today.” However, we can all agree on one thing regarding this upcoming collaboration which Vogue referenced via their tweet, “It’s almost like a rite of passage for new, young designers.”

Did Karl Lagerfeld Call the French President an idiot?

said what? Went the tweet heard all around the fashion world, after Karl used the word imbécil (idiot, in English) when talking about President Hollande while guest editing Marie Claire Spain. And while Karl can talk smack about Pippa Middleton and Adele until he is blue in the face, apparently different rules apply when involving a political figure. WWD reports that Chanel‘s main man went on a national French TV show to clarify his comment, which he claims was taken out of context. Backpedaling all weekend since the mishap,”Karl Lagerfeld says he never called the French president an ‘idiot.’…Obviously I did not say that.” (Fashionologie)  So what exactly did he mean when using the word imbécil? “Karl Lagerfeld doesn’t think the President of France is an idiot—just that his policies are idiotic. Got it?”

Get Ready for More Blue Steel: Zoolander the Sequel is Happening!

Good news for the aspiring male fashion model. The 2001 fashion comedy, Zoolander, is coming back to the big screen. According to Fashionista.com, the sequel is “definitely happening…there’s already a script for it.” Metro adds, “Stiller wrote the script with Jen Aniston’s soon-to-be-hubby Justin Theroux.” The fun doesn’t stop there. There is also news on the sequel’s characters, Derek Zoolander and Hansel, who will continue to be played by Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson. Fashionista.com tweets, “More Zoolander 2 news!! The new script reportedly sees Derek and Hansel 10 years later as washed up models in Europe…It seems the years haven’t been so kind to poor Derek and Hansel.” Love it or bored already?

Until next week my fashion Tweeps.
