The voluminous top with rounded shoulders is obviously the new shape of the season, though Milly kept lines a little cleaner by not dropping the shoulder. It’s actually kind of hard to think of someone who didn’t show a sweatshirt this season. Lots of leather sleeves and accents. All the neon in combination with all the shine was a little much. There needed to be some flat black for contrast. But super wearable sweaters and coats helped balance that out. There was really a skirt for everyone in this collection as well, from short flouncy pleats to more sophisticated mid-calf metallics.
It’s refreshing when everything gets a little too high art to view a collection you’d like to shop.
