True to form, his separates were colorblocked and floated along the runway in a range of bold hues including bright blues, pinks and warm rusty tones. He even successfully challenged one of those age old fashion rules with a red jacket and pink blouse clash.
The tailoring was oversized as jackets and trousers hung loose, and the coats swamped the tiny models. Although the coats varied in bright tones, it was actually the white version that stood out the most. Per his trademark, trousers were the favored silhouette, appearing in a plethora of colors and diagonally striped patterns in cottons, silks and more autumnal materials.
Digital prints also made an appearance on many pieces, with a standout example being the teal exaggerated shoulder dress. He continued to play with the traditional feminine silhouette by adding ruffled sleeve detail that featured on an array of separates from blouses to jackets and coats.
All in all, he demonstrated that it’s always possible to make a bright color statement even in the winter months, with the oversized trend making for a more relaxed casual take on traditional workwear.
