Then again, you probably already do — or someone out there does because the brand is growing like gangbusters. Their latest new store further secures their presence amid the fashion set, a sleek and modern space in NYC’s luxury-laden Meatpacking District.
“Each of our stores is designed to reflect the local community,” says Lululemon rep Molly Paterno. “The Meatpacking location had great bones and a good soul we didn’t want to mess with. We tried to honor the existing architectural elements while integrating modern, structural materials and details.”
Think translucent white countertops, stainless steel rolling hardware, plus exposed rustic brick walls, beams and columns. And the merch matches the address, specifically a city-inspired, multi-functional black wrap/vest/tank-hybrid designed exclusively for the Meatpacking store. For the opening, the brand’s Vancouver-based lab partnered with two NYC designers to create this “Infinity Tee” inspired by yoga, meditation and local streetwear.
In the mood for a brighter palette? Spring hues come via a Flow & Go Tank in Pop Orange and Faded Zap, or Racerbacks in Fresh Teal and Mellow Lemon. A fresh new store, fresh new threads and (hopefully) inspiration to get moving, whatever that means to you. Dr. Ashton would most certainly approve.
