Missoni Spring 2014: Surprising Standouts

Given that Missoni is best known for its colorful knits, this season brought with it unlikely standouts. The most memorable looks of the collections were in the opening segment and were a series of sea and seagull prints that found their way onto an asymmetric dress, a slit skirt and a Japanese origami-style top.

The rest of the show featured more abstract prints and colorways before the seascape print reoccurred to close out the show. Silhouettes ranged from the Japanese to the Middle Eastern to the Indian-inspired, making for a mostly loosely draped lineup of colorful creations.
