Henri Bendel
Henri Bendel's windows, dubbed “Hirschfeld Spectacular,” are based off of drawings of celebrities and Broadway performers that Al Hirschfeld did for a number of publications including The New York Times. The drawings, which include Carol Channing, Whoopi Goldberg, Sarah Jessica Parker, Liza Minnelli, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Bernadette Peters and Woody Allen, were made into sculptures. The main window depicts a formal dining room of a classic New York townhouse in the midst of a holiday party.

Tiffany’s windows feature romantic scenes from classic Upper East Side apartments, including mistletoe kisses, children hanging stockings and, best of all, a family relaxing by a fire decorated with diamonds.

Barneys New York
Barneys is one of the most tech savvy retailers so it’s little surprise that they decided to debut their holiday windows via their Instagram channel, @barneysnyofficial. The windows feature light projections, 3-D displays and LED screens, and of course they have a much buzzed about collaboration with Jay Z. Among the displays is a floating model of NYC that changes from white to brown to yellow and back to white via light projections and another that invites shoppers to superimpose their faces onto a sleigh ride with Santa. There are also a slew of limited-edition designer products that were created especially for Barneys.

Saks Fifth Avenue
This year, Saks has once again opted for a light show, but unlike the snowflakes of last year, this season features a Yeti. Each window details a scene from the Yeti’s life “from his humble beginnings as an unappreciated snowmaker in Siberia to his starring role as a true snowflake artist in New York.” For more, check out this video.
