Henri Matisse was the starting point for Jordana Warmflash’s Fall 2015 collection, brimming with vibrant colors and graphic patterns nodding to the artist’s infamous cut-outs. After her presentation at Industria Superstudio, we flagged down the emerging designer for a quick tête-à-tête.
theFashionSpot: You’re always smiling when we see you. What makes you happy?
Jordana Warmflash: My friends and family always make me smile, and I am happy when I work hard and see everything come together at the presentation.
tFS: You were born and raised in New York. What’s the most New York thing about you?
JW: I love walking!
tFS: What’s the last great book you read?
JW: The Great Gatsby.
tFS: What do you binge watch on Netflix?
JW: Orange Is the New Black.
tFS: When you’re not working, what are you up to?
JW: Eating good meals, and hanging out with my friends, family and my boyfriend.
tFS: What’s your motto in life?
JW: There is too much to do in life, you can sleep when you’re dead.
