On Wednesday, the iconic Steve Madden Slinky platform reentered the cultural zeitgeist. Today, the jelly sandal makes its triumphant return. We know what you’re thinking: No, you haven’t passed through a 90s wormhole, at least not in the physical sense. Yet again, Fenty x Puma designer Rihanna has brought the 90s to us.

The decorated shoe expert‘s latest release calls upon shoppers to relive their formative years, when glitter-flecked jelly sandals were a symbol of elevated taste and status. We’ll give Rih this: though the sporty slides aren’t quite as cute and (literally) fuzzy as their predecessors, they are fully waterproof, ergo functional. (Finally, Rihanna-approved pool slides we can actually wear near water.)

Mirroring the designer’s Spring 2017 Fenty x Puma collection, the slides come in three semi-translucent colorways: powder blue, baby pink and army green. They’re $90 apiece, which is pretty unspeakable for jellies, not to mention a $10 markup from earlier versions. Not that anything will stop these from selling out.
