A Sneak Peek at the Fall 2019 Trends
Balmain
Designer Olivier Rousteing played with black and white by layering a distressed bouclé jacket on top of a shredded cobweb knit top. Tailored trousers and white sneakers accessorized with a quilted newsboy cap and chain-link belt keep things grounded.
Ann Demeulemeester
Ann Demeulemeester blends a rock 'n' roll vibe and traditional tailoring by reimagining a deconstructed classic white oxford shirt as a strapless tie-up top. It's styled with relaxed drawstring trousers tucked into chunky boots and finished off with a headscarf and feather necklace.
Dsquared2
Dsquared2’s Dan and Dean Caten went for a hedonistic take on grunge by pairing a band shirt with a sexy micro mini with stud-and-chain detailing. The look was completed with an over-the-top fiery coat and knee-high boots, creating a psychedelic look that makes for opulent streetwear.
John Richmond
John Richmond mashed up military elements with some cowboy aesthetic through a utilitarian camo print dress featuring Western details on the collar, cuffs and hem. The look was finished off with steel-toed fringed knee-high boots.
Kenzo
Kenzo's Carol Lim and Humberto Leon took inspiration from the psychedelic murals of artist Pablo Amaringo to inspire this optical print dress. The shocking pink shade was matched with equally bright patent lace-up boots.
M1992
Dorian Stefano Tarantini went the retro route with a zip-up A-line minidress with flounced cuffs paired with printed leggings and graphic suede booties for an updated take on a mod aesthetic.
Paul Smith
Paul Smith brought the countryside to the city by blending heritage checks with fine English suiting. The designer played with layers with a longer pinstripe dress shirt, cropped trousers and surprising pops of leopard print.
Prada
Miuccia Prada's take on utility translated as both feminine and edgy with a military-inspired strapless top tucked into a high-waisted illustrated floral skirt. The designer cinched the look with a double-layer leather belt while keeping it casual with bold lugsole shoes and a quirky trapper hat.
Heron Preston
Heron Preston took inspiration from the 90s with his updated double denim look, featuring oversized pockets glammed up with a tonal-dyed faux fur coat and sharp boots.
Versace
Donatella Versace knows how to bring sexy into sportswear with a vibrant, deep V-neck blouse tucked into high-waisted boxing shorts. The look is topped off with a boxy blazer and finished with statement socks and elaborate strappy heels.
