If you think fall means wearing all neutral tones and chunky sweaters, you’re dead wrong. While we did have some fall-appropriate covers, October was full of neon. The bright trend is a bit tired, but it sure makes a mag pop on cluttered newsstands. Menswear for women and crimson lips were two other overused looks we could have done without. On a positive note, celebrities made for some of the best cover stars (and gave great interviews).
