We’ve been counting down the days till the annual Fashion Awards in December and now that this year’s nominees have been announced, we’re even more excited. You probably already know that Giorgio Armani is receiving the Outstanding Achievement Award and supermodel Naomi Campbell will be honored as a fashion icon. But the rest of the list holds a few surprises.
Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Jacquemus, Loewe and Prada are all vying for Brand of the Year, while Jonathan Anderson is nominated for British Designer of the Year, Womenswear for his work with both JW Anderson and Loewe. Ultra hip brands like Fenty and Marine Serre will battle it out in the Urban Luxe category. And we’re happy to report that all but one of the Model of the Year nominees are women of color.
