Amber Heard: The Next Guess Girl

Actress Amber Heard just landed perhaps her biggest role yet as the new face of Guess. She’s already been featured in films like Pineapple Express, Zombieland, and Alpha Dog, but now she’ll be following in the footsteps of Claudia Schiffer, Anna Nicole Smith, and France’s First Lady Carla Bruni. Amber definitely has adventurous style, and she’s sure to draw more attention once the Guess Fall 2011 campaign, shot by Ellen Von Unwerth, is unveiled later this year.

For the Los Angeles premiere of Pineapple Express back in 2008, Amber looked sharp in a velvet Giorgio Armani gown with an extremely angled neckline, accented by Bulgari jewelry. Amber went for a dramatic look in a deep red corseted Dolce & Gabbana gown for the 2nd Annual The Art of Elysium Heaven Gala

Structured shoulders, strategic draping, and an exposed back zipper were the hallmarks of the white Paule Ka Fall 2009 mini Amber wore to Zombieland‘s Hollywood showing in September 2009. The Dior Couture Spring 2008 wedges finished off the outfit. Then it was a vintage Oscar de la Renta for the premiere of her thriller, The Stepfather. The embellished black gown was capped off with lace sleeves.

Headed to a November 2009 lunch at Joan’s on Third, Amber actually looked a bit like Scarlett Johansson in a black sleeveless ruffled-collar sheath. A few months later it was take-out from the same Los Angeles hot spot; this time she channeled Lindsay Lohan, sporting a blazer, decorative scarf, belted cuffed jeans, and pink ballet flats.

Marchesa‘s sweet empire bow-waist dress was combined with Brian Atwood pumps and a metallic clutch by Jimmy Choo when Amber took in the July 2010 Salt premiere. Gucci provided this racy take on the pantsuit for the Society of Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center‘s 2010 fall party at New York City’s Four Seasons Restaurant.

The Art of Elysium’s 4th Annual Heaven Gala this past January had Amber in a daring Julien Macdonald gown. That exaggerated not-so V-neck and silver hue made the frock extra flashy. A strapless Donna Karan was the choice for the February 2011 Hollywood showing of Drive Angry 3D. Amber added to the sparkle with Gilan diamond earrings.

We can’t wait for Amber Heard’s Guess campaign!
