Celebs Go Nude on the Red Carpet

There’s been a recent trend of celebs going nude on the red carpet, opting for paler hues and skin toned dresses. From neutral to beige and even blush, the buff color has shown up in every form this month. It can be difficult to avoid looking washed out, so this trend can be hard to master. Some stars go head-to-toe neutral while others pair their nudes with vivid accessories; done correctly, the overall look can be quite impressive as these actresses recently displayed.

It was a cool khaki number for Gabrielle Union when she attended the April 6 launch party for the new WE Channel TV series Braxton Family Values in West Hollywood. The dress featured an asymmetrical exposed zipper in the front along with a keyhole back and was set off with coordinating cork wedges. Heather Graham went for a peachy variation in a wool-blend fitted L’Wren Scott. At Good Housekeeping‘s Shine On Event in New York City on April 12, the actress matched the sheath with peach-colored heels and a gold VBH clutch.

Fiery red pumps helped Minka Kelly stand out that same day at the Gatorade G Series FIT Launch Event in Los Angeles. The Brian Atwoods the actress wore were the perfect contrast to her muted ivory crepe cap sleeve Victoria Beckham frock. Eva Longoria also relied on a Victoria Beckham dress while promoting her cookbook Eva’s Kitchen on April 13 at a Los Angeles Barnes & Noble location. Ferragamo heels in a similar shade were paired with the Spring 2011 nude silk one shoulder selection.

Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall kept it in neutral courtesy of a faux wrap dress with side ruffle accent partnered with intricate sandals. It was perfectly sophisticated for the April 14 opening night after party for the Lincoln Center Broadway production of War Horse in New York City. For the 2011 Jenesse Silver Rose Auction and Gala in Beverly Hills on April 17, Taraji P. Henson settled on a stealth Herve Leger gown and fantastic Fendi footwear.
