The jaw-dropping hair and makeup at fashion week can often be overshadowed by the clothes and the models who wear them, but the beauty at Topshop wasn’t lost on beauty and fashion writer Grace Timothy. “Gorgeous use of @DawsonLizzie‘s makeup by @hannah_murray1 today @topshop!” she tweeted. And Marian Kihogo experienced hair envy at one show. “My hair is jealous of the Thakoon spring 2012 girl’s hair,” tweeted the celeb stylist.
Susanna Lau commented on Acne’s marriage of contrasting elements. “Maximal colliding with minimal at @acneonline– a wild array of textures,” tweeted the blogger behind Susie Bubble. As the week came to a close, fashion journalist Melanie Rickey noticed that it wasn’t just the fashion week attendees who were trending toward the exhausted. “We’ve had pajamas nighties & now djellebahs on the runway this week, as high fashion. Relaxing,” she tweeted.
