Fashion month is coming to an end, but fashionable tweeters’ tongues are still wagging about Paris Fashion Week. We’ve rounded up the latest gossip, gushes, and gags from fashion A-listers on Twitter.

Kanye West’s debut collection, Dw, was overwhelmingly the most talked-about show at Paris Fashion Week. “KANYE is A GENIUS- TONIGHT was MONUMENTAL,” tweeted popstar Ciara, who made multiple front row appearances. Not all reviews were as glowing, but whether or not West is PFW-ready, most agreed that he brought a party with him to Paris, including Ajak Deng. The model tweeted, “OMG what a fantastic night. Mr West knows how to shake the stress out of fashion people N knows how to throw a party.” Fête or no, The New York Times’ Cathy Horyn took issue with the rapper’s tailoring. “Next season Kanye should get a tailor so clothes might fit. Models swimming in some looks. Kills the hot look, no?”

Speaking of hot looks, editor of InStyle Magazine Ariel Foxman tweeted a snide weather report from Paris: “Temps so hot in Paris they actually took the roof off the tent at shows. That or the EU is calling in its debts early.”

It wasn’t Kanye West that really took the heat, though. Christina Binkley had no kinds words for Thierry Mugler’s collection. “I have rarely seen so many pissed off people rush out of a fashion show. Mugler. #pfw No new trends there,” tweeted the Wall Street Journal style columnist.

With so many stars rubbing elbows at PFW, there were bound to be some star-struck famous faces. Glee’s Lea Michele was charmed by Karl Lagerfeld. “Had the best weekend in Paris for #parisfashionweek. It was such a pleasure getting to meet Mr Lagerfeld & attend the fabulous #Hogan party!” she tweeted. Rachel Zoe was dazzled by Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz, and tweeted, “Amazing to run into the brilliant Alber after the most stunning show!! Luvs him XoRZ.” Dita Von Teese met a fellow dancer of another kind. “Went to Alexis Mabille’s show here in Paris, sat with ballerina Marie-Agnes Gillot, who I adore! She showed me videos of her pet swans♥,” she tweeted. Meanwhile, fashion writer Derek Blasberg was wooed by an older woman: “Giambattista’s show literally has every well bred girl at #PFW. But I only have eyes for one: Lee Radziwill. Show ’em how its DONE, girl!”

Certain Tweeters paid attention to the beauty looks on the runways, like senior MAC artist Caroline D. “Girls at Veronique Le Roy were fresh faced, healthy campers but with a teenage, bad girl black liner,” she tweeted. Gaia Repossi waxed nostalgic about hair: “Preppy hairstyle at Celine. Reminds me when I was a kid,” tweeted the Maison Repossi artistic director.

FashionTV showed love to the models, and one in particular. “Ruby Aldridge looks like a Victorian era princess out for a summer stroll #PFW @MaisonValentino.”

Anna Dello Russo probably made it to every fashion month show, but picked up on a certain trend at Commes des Garcons. “It’s all about white terrific silhouette!” she tweeted

Nina Garcia shared some YSL shoe envy. “Last photo from @YSL. I want these shoes now… and I’m sure @marieclaire you also want them #PFWtweeted the Project Runway mainstay.

“The Chanel show gets grander & grander each season. This time huge aquarium set and Florence Welch singing in giant clamshell! Who next??” tweeted Editor-in-Chief of Glamour Cindi Leive, who was wowed by the singer’s homage to Botticelli’s Venus.

Lisa Tant loved the richness at Giambattista Valli. “Gorgeous couture-quality Giambattista Valli collection (white, metallic brocade) for all PYTs in audience. 50s feel, deluxe #pfw,” tweeted the Editor-in-Chief of Canada’s Flare.

But it was Emanuel Ungaro who one fashionable tweeter thought wasn’t PFW material. Style.com and Harper’s Bazaar editor Meenal Mistry tweeted, “Ungaro was basically a Dior place-holder situation. Perfectly fine, commercial clothes but perhaps better suited to a rack than a runway.” Ouch.
