Do you ever see a pic of a celeb looking like a hot mess and wonder how, with all of the stylists, designers, makeup artists, and Hunger Games -style prep teams behind this girl, did this happen? Us too. That’s why we’ve created a game where we get to reimagine celeb style snafus—if only we were their stylists.
If We Were the Stylist, Kate Moss Would be Wearing Pants (& Other Celeb Style Fixes)
Kate Moss Forgets Her Pants
A jewel-encrusted mesh bodysuit is one thing on the runway—and we know from the past month that Kate Moss can certainly still rock one in that setting—but at a fancy fashion event, covering it up with a men’s blazer doesn’t make it any less garish. Even if you’re a supermodel (and probably even if you’re Cher ). You have to wonder what it was like to hold a conversation with Moss, cocktail in hand, at the CR Fashion Book Issue 2 party—especially if she weren’t angled so that that perfectly-placed lapel covered up her crotch. All explicitness aside, some pants would’ve helped.

January Jones Can't Shake the 60s
Most actresses desperately want to avoid the typecasting that comes with a breakout role on a huge hit TV show. Apparently, January Jones isn’t one of them: at the Mui Mui show during PFW, she looked as if she were in costume for Mad Men when she revived one of the worst parts of 60s fashion—the beehive. Perhaps without the extra foot of hair on top, her tuxedo-inspired shorts suit would’ve looked sharp, but as it is, the whole thing comes off silly and costumey.

Find a Way to Make Hailee Steinfeld's Dress Less Tacky
January Jones wasn’t the only celeb hoping to have a black tie affair in a tuxedo look; Hailee Steinfeld wore this monstrosity to the Vanity Fair Oscars party. This doesn’t mean that Steinfeld is off her fashion game—Valentino made a misstep when it churned out this leather and mesh bib dress, and her only mistake was deciding to wear it.

Selena Gomez's Witchy Look
It makes me nervous to say anything negative about the Lovers + Friends two-piece dress which Selena Gomez wore to the Alliance for Children’s Rights benefit, because I’m afraid that she might cast a spell on me. Besides the fact that the side cut-outs are a good excuse to show off her abs, there’s really nothing good to say about this witchy look. Even her cool tribal necklace takes on a talisman effect when paired with the 90s dress. Perhaps she’s turned to dipping in to the dark arts in order to get Justin back.

Give Chris Brown his Pants Back, Rihanna
Rihanna obviously felt confident enough at the launch of her collection for River Island to take a fashion risk, but unfortunately it didn’t pay off. Her Double Denim Jeans look like she borrowed them from boyfriend Chris Brown.
