Double-Take #1: Dita Von Teese and Sarah Paulson in Carolina Herrera

Dita‘s hair and makeup always remain relatively the same, but the burlesque performer has started to increase the number of contemporary silhouettes she wears to high-profile events. Her current preferred fashion house appears to be Carolina Herrera and Dita selected one of the designer’s Fall 2013 gowns for last week’s unveiling of the redesigned Van Cleef & Arpels New York 5th Avenue Flagship Maison. This dotted silk gown with bow accent and plunging neckline was styled with ornate Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry. Sarah skipped the pattern and went with the ruby version sent down the runway as she made the red carpet rounds on Emmy night back in September. Gold jewels polished off the look. Did Dita’s graphic presentation hit the spot or was it a bright idea for Sarah to stick with the original hue?
