Somewhat affectionately known as the “nerd prom,” over the years, the cool kids from Hollywood have infiltrated the annual White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, making it a major red carpet event. The fashions this year were top-notch with a roster of A-list guests parading out in everything from gowns with structured accents to pieces boasting sheer details and even a dress/pants hybrid look. There was a lot of color on the red carpet (think a veritable rainbow of hues, including purple, pink, red, blue and a golden shade of yellow), but numerous celebs embraced black, often amping things up with embellishments or glitzy jewelry.
