The red carpet at this year’s Emmy Awards featured a rainbow of eye-catching looks. From green to blue to red to yellow to purple, practically every hue was represented (and most in one very colorful custom gown). Even with all the brights on display, a few stars managed to shine in sequin dresses, like Mandy Moore in her dazzling Rodarte creation. Neutrals, like white and black, were anything but basic thanks to standout details, including a ruffled back on Claire Foy’s crisp Calvin Klein by Appointment sheath, the half moon appliqués decorating Jessica Biel’s wedding-worthy Ralph & Russo dress and the stunning embellishments on Angela Sarafyan’s grand Christian Siriano gown.
