Giving Jennifer Lopez‘s Gucci-clad twins a run for their mama’s money is Fendi now that they’ve debuted an adorable line of children’s clothing. The sizes of the collection run from 3 to 12 and the line includes ready-to-wear and accessories priced between $150 and $600.
The Children’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection marks the U.S. debut of the kids line and to celebrate it, runway shows were held in Milan and in New York. In each city, a group of 4-6 year old boys and girls dressed in tapered pants, playful dresses, graphic tees, and fitted blazers with contrasting lining walked the runway to show off the Italian-made designs.
The majority of the girls’ dresses came in pink, yellow, and prints; there were also print tops and printed leggings, while the boys’ looks prominently featured plaids, bomber jackets, and tailored pants and blazers in a mix of nautical colors and natural tones. Linen, silk, and cotton fabrics were all used to make the clothing practical for the active lifestyle most kids lead.
