This week, we’re highlighting forum member style that ranges from the pretty to the more… gritty. And whatever falls in between. We’re an eclectic bunch from all over the world, and this week’s street style exemplifies that.
COTTDS, shoutouttoyou, fashionandfrank
COTTDS pulled this outfit together with a red leather jacket, black pumps and a handbag from Zara, and shorts and a tee from H&M. She excels at making clothes from fast fashion brands look chic and expensive.
A new forum member from the Netherlands, shoutouttoyou wore floral harem pants from Zara with an ultra thin coral top by Romwe, silver gladiator sandals by Primark, and violet sunglasses from Five Stones Vintage.
In London, fashionandfrank stepped out in a floral-print Erdem skirt with a top by The Row and accessories by Céline.
naboonies, Petit Lucille, sonnytsunami
In Russia, naboonies wanted to go for something bright so he wore a cropped Peter Jensen blazer over a collared shirt from Uniqlo with a pair of thrifted cropped pants, a skinny belt from Zara, and a pair of Lanvin clogs from their Fall 2010 collection.
Petit Lucille dressed for winter in Buenos Aires in a multitude of layers that included a vintage summer dress that was a gift from her significant other’s grandmother, a floral skirt from her own grandmother, a sweater from Victoria’s Secret, a faux fur coat that is also from her grandmother, stockings from Zara Children (she’s tiny) and Flocked Ashanti boots by Melissa.
For a day at the beach sonnytsunami threw a Naf Naf blazer over a Maje top that she wore with Primark leggings, River Island boots, a Primark hat, and her Louis Vuitton Damier Canvas Neverfull tote.
haptronic, lafindesiecle, bloo90fashion
The perennially cool haptronic buttoned up a Kmart (did you just do a double take when you read Kmart?) plaid shirt over a Fruit of the Loom tee that he wore with Ksubi jeans, Air Wair combat boots, and a pair of Ray Bans. Have you ever seen Kmart look better? It’s easy to get away with when you’re as cool as haptronic is.
Lafindesiecle bore the 98 degree heat in New York City in a bra top and mesh shirt from American Apparel, a skirt by Yigal Azrouel and creepers by Underground.
Is there anything grittier than graffiti? In Poland, bloo90fashion kept her outfit simple to highlight her Romwe shoes. Her faded jeans are by H&M, the simple white tee is from Zara, her watch is by Aldo, and her clutch was made for her by her mother.
