Forum members are ushering in the fall weather with a lot of loose, drapey layers and fabrics. I feel like my focus falls on layers A LOT, but mastering the art of layering is such an important part of establishing your own personal style that it’s worth coming back to. So, whether they were cinching billowy cardigans or putting on swishy skirts or dresses, this week’s ensembles seemed to be all about easy fabrics that can handle unpredictable not-hot but not-cold autumnal weather.
Toothfairy paired her Etoile Isabel Marant printed pants with a top by Modstrom and a leather jacket from Zara. She accessorized with boots from Mango, an Alexander Wang bag, and Gucci sunglasses.
ALLTHATSTYLE donned a loose knit sweater from Primark with Topshop jeans, Republic shoes with a glitter-enhanced heel that would be right at home in this week’s Love List, and a leopard print clutch from Topshop.
Primad wore a pair of slim pants from Stella McCartney’s H&M collection with a Y3 top and H&M brocade jacket. Her leopard belt is from Asos and her black heels are Christian Louboutin’s Pigalle Plato style.
ClaireandtheFrog expressed her love of blue in an Asos top, H&M sweater, and Uniqlo jeans. Brown boots by 3 Suisses provided some contrast.
Katnani mixed light colored clothes with darker accessories. She wore a silver asymmetric skirt by LOVE with a Zara sweater, boots by Seaside, a bright pink fedora by Paul Smith, and a fringed bag from H&M.
Justlikesushi wore white pants from H&M with a drapey black Zorah top by Acne, ecru Converse All Stars, and a vintage brown wool hat.
Liina headed out in Bikbok jeans, a Free People sweater topped with a Gestuz jacket and a big bulky scarf by Becksøndergaard. Her bag is by Yves Saint Laurent.
Risska wore a Tigerlily gingham dress with a thrifted blazer, navy knee socks, Converse platform sneakers and Tom Ford eyeglasses.
Juneping wore her Etoile Isabel Marant jacket over an Asos top with Elise Overland pants, Isabel Marant shoes, and a Louis Vuitton scarf.
